David has worked in the power industry as a consultant with Black and Veatch for 13 years followed by 8 years with FirstEnergy. He has specialised in substation design and standards development and is currently an SME with FirstEnergy providing technical support for the development of substation design standards with substation design engineers, and field personnel. David actively participates in standards and industry meetings as a FirstEnergy representative.
