The Australian Earthing Institute will host the eighth Australian Down to Earth Conference on 19 May in Newcastle.

The Down to Earth Conference (DTEC) is a comprehensive three day in-person conference for electrical engineers, designers, utilities, and infrastructure professionals. It covers a range of topics focused on:

  • Earthing and grounding system design
  • Lightning protection systems
  • High voltage and safety compliance
  • Electromagnetic interference and mitigation
  • Renewable systems and earthing
  • Safety testing, standards, and case studies

Since 2006, DTEC has grown into a multidisciplinary conference with a strong professional community behind it, that welcomes experienced practitioners alongside those still developing their skills from across the sector. We attract a diverse range of speakers from field technicians, consultants, academics, asset managers, and other industry players.
