Dávid Szabó, PhD. received his B.Sc. (2017), M.Sc. (2019), and Ph.D. (2024) degrees as an electrical engineer at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME).
Now, he is a senior lecturer at the Department of Electric Power Engineering Group of High Voltage Engineering and Equipment of BME. His primary research area is Dynamic Line Rating (DLR), especially the investigation of physical models and critical span analysis methods, he is also active in power lines’ icing, especially in ice prediction modeling. Moreover, he participated in the development of laboratory testing methodology of conductive clothing.
